CLIVE JACKSON is a Singer/Songwriter, exploring different genres, such as Rock, Pop, Blues and Folk.

 

He plays all the instruments heard on solo recordings, including: Guitars, Bass, Harmonica, Keyboards and Percussion.

 

A veteran of Rock bands who were part of the Newcastle music scene in the 1990’s, he was a member of ‘Greedsville’  who released an Album in 1994 - ‘The Casino Royale Collection’ (CDBLEED 9).

 

In 1996 he formed Arch Stanton, who recently released an album online ‘The Stanton Files’ made up of recordings from 1996-2000.

Prior to this he played in bands, such as Dark Roads and spoof Heavy Metal band Mince.

 

He has experienced most aspects of the music industry: Promoting an album through extensive U.K touring, T.V and Radio appearances, session work, producing other artists and working in a recording studio: Trinity Heights, owned by Penetration and Tygers of Pan Tang, guitarist, Fred Purser. 

 

In 2015 he wrote, performed and produced his first solo album 'Life Off Line'.

 

In 2019 he released his second solo album 'Rocket Science'.

He has recently recorded a third solo album, due for release in 2024.

Clive Jackson is the cousin of Ray Jackson, from the 1970's Folk Rock band, Lindisfarne.

 

He has been friends with Evan Dando of American Rock band, The Lemonheads since 2000 and has performed live on stage with him.

 

He is also a Film-Maker and has produced music related videos, live performances, short films, T.V Pilots and documentaries, through his production company Automatic Films.

In 2019, a Music Video was produced for Perfect Storm, a song from Rocket Science.  It has been selected for twenty International Film Festivals to date.
